How a race week works

Every Grand Prix, same eleven questions, same budget.

1

Pick your eleven

Answer each question with a driver. No driver can answer two questions, and your five most expensive picks from last race sit out this one.

2

Spend wisely

Drivers are priced by where they finished last time, from 8 credits down to 1. You have 45, so backing every favourite is impossible.

3

Into Parc Fermé

Lock your picks before Thursday noon — or first practice, whichever comes first. Once they're in, they're final.

What makes it bite

Cheap and right beats expensive

A correct pick costing 1 or 2 credits scores ×1.5. Spotting a bargain is worth more than backing the obvious.

Two questions reward failure

First to retire and knocked out in Q1 flip the prices, so last race's retirements become the expensive favourites.

You can't repeat yourself

Your five priciest picks are locked out next race, so the same front-runners can't carry you all season.

Leagues with your mates

Create a league, share the code, and race a cumulative table. Up to 30 teams each, and ties are split by your season predictions.

Settled from the data

Results come from published timing data, not news reports: laps, pit stops, sector times and the qualifying classification.

Grands Prix only

Sprints never count — not for answers, not for prices, not for anything.
